My parents ordered two pairs of glasses through the Spectacle Supply Scheme for seniors which was funded by the government. The fact they don't document is not my problem, it is an issue though. I DID return to the store and the receptionist looked at them, told me those lenses weren't available by original supplier, and need to be sent elsewhere and would cost hundreds. And I do look after my glasses! Very frustrated and disappointed! Time to head elsewhere! Please note in reference to reply below which I can't seem to respond to. Rubbish quality, previous pair from there lasted over 6 years, dropped numerous times, and no issue. Bought a pair of $300+ prescription sunglasses with " protective coating and Polaroid lens" fell of face in Rundle mall, dropped once, dented in multiple places and have been told have to replace lenses, that will cost hundreds. Have been there multiple times before, new optometrist very friendly unlike the previous one, who was rude, disinterested and hesitant to give my prescription. What a terrible experience in the Inala Store! When they took a deposit for glasses they didn't give me a receipt when I paid by cash, they told me it was done and directed us to home. However when you have an appointment they will call you to remind you, even an hour before the appointment. After 1 month of making glasses for my son, they don't even care to call to tell us that the glasses are available for pick up. When you are in a health related business, at least show some compassion and caring, don't just concentrate on making money alone. All they wanted was to get you in and kick you out as quickly as possible and all they wanted was to sell you expensive glasses. I expected when I visit a doctor, at least the Dr must tell me the reason for my sickness and how to care for it, or explain about the sickness but you won't get this from Inala store. I took my child to this store for an eye check, the staff was unhelpful, I described the optometrist as unfriendly, after the check he said my son has such a condition in the shortest possible way and directed us to go outside to choose a pair of glasses.
